My next collection of drawings are to commorate Michael Jackson's history in music videos. (not in any particular order) There is no doubt that he has brought originality to the medium that no-one else can immitate yet use him as in inspiration.
Here we have "Remember the time", a song about a long lost romance between two people that is being rekindled by their unexpected reuniting.
The music video is set in Egypt during the time of Pharaohs and Queens. It features Eddie Murphy, Iman (David Bowies wife) and Magic Johnson. The story begins with the Queen feeling the need for entertainment, the Pharaoh brings in all manner of entertainers but the only one who interests her is the one and only MJ. He begins to sing to her about their lost love before she became Queen when they were young and the guards set after him to only be confused when he dissappears into gold dust.
