My next collection of drawings are to commorate Michael Jackson's history in music videos. (not in any particular order) There is no doubt that he has brought originality to the medium that no-one else can immitate yet use him as in inspiration.
Here we have "Beat it", a song about gang violence and street wars.
The music video puts MJ in the thick of a gang war, the two gangs are telling everyone they know to meet up later that night and MJ wants to stop it happening. Of course, MJ saves the day with song and dance before things get violent with knives.
Did you know the people asked to feature in this video are two real gangs from off the streets? If you watch the video many of them can't dance at all and just stand around in the background.
Created in pencil crayons and chalks. Text and signature added in Ulead.
My favorite MJ`s song...And I love video clip for it - especially the moment with knifes. I dunno why, but I love how they fight there, how they dance....Damn, what a perfect video clip....
WHY IT MAKES ME CRY ALL THE TIME THEN ???
-cryes-
The crying will end soon, then the smiles will come when you remember what a great man MJ was.
Thanks for commenting!
Too bad he's gone
