Alcoholic Project - Final by syxx Alcoholic Project - Final by syxx
Here's the final collection of images for my project involving the sketches ive posted up a couple of months ago.
No text is to be used and the starting point was to tell the story of the arguements between myself and my mother.

I want to know what everyone's genuine thoughts are on these as i intend to make a movie with them in power point with the soundtrack being KoRn's "Falling Away from Me" (ive already made it but didnt know how to upload it on here...)

Then it's my tutors turn to bury my hard work into the ground with the rest of my ideas that they dont like

Created with chalks, acrylics, gouache, biro, inks and pencil crayons.

I have to say you've done an amazing job on this project, maybe because it's quite a personal theme to you, (Well, us both!) it's shuay to see how your ideas have developed and blossomed since your first preliminary sketches.
The mixed mediums really add depth to this piece especially, makes me feel so proud of ya's!
:glomp:
Those teachers better give you a good grade for this! Otherwise there idioths with no brothers of sisters!!

 Damn right theyre idioths! They dont even have to try to do that...

Yes it is personal to us both and i just want to say i hope you dont think i was single-ing myself out in this project, i do realise you were there with me throughout the whole ordeal. Otherwise i dont think id be here today if you hadnt helped me through it all.

I merely used the idea of OUR childhood and focused on myself for my own project - plus id have to draw an extra character in there. And im just too lazy :giggle:

Your support always means the most to me - thanks for the fav

Damn those tutors! Do they look out their asses or something? Your work is pure takent and imagination! Everything can't be super duper technical detail! Simple and effective work with plenty of colour and life is the key to art these days. And besides, what do we call art after all? Isn't art the meaning of culture and culture being our lives as we know it. A cough is a form of art... Yoko Ono made big by coughing for art!

I like it very much - it's a an inspiration!

Thanks buddy!! If that comment wasnt a big pick me up i dont know what is?! :cuddle: :highfive:

I just have to transfer all these images into a power point presentation with Korn's "Falling Away from me" as the soundtrack and im done.

My tutors seemed to be keen on the outcome so far, but im really at the point of not caring as ive spent so long on each friggin page i hate the colour brown LOL! j/k.

Youve made a valid point about what is art? Ive always wondered that myself, how do teachers get jobs teaching art? Surely they cant teach you whats already inside you? I dunno...its a question that will never be answered...

I bet it will look swell as a PP presentation - can you actually make one track last over a whole slide show? I suck when it comes to adding music and I can't seem to make it work. There is probably a simple way but I tend to make a meal out of everything.

Yeah - art is everything, and everything is art... or cheese? Teachers are just glorifed 'supposedly' know it alls. Not in all cases, but art teachers. Blimey! You could get some no brainer off the street and he could be an art critic. *Shakes head* Art is a desire and comes with a view of our own. Not everything is everyone's cup of tea - so there are critics and teachers with an obvious bias. Ignore 'em - you're too good for their lame as hell comments!

Staggering in vision and design, I may love this style most of all. I can't help but wish that somehow someday something so incredible will come from my hand. I know this film reflects a great deal of pain, how wonderful that you can express it and hopefully cope while sharing such haunting images with us!!
